I find it to be important to participate in events for raising money and awareness for MS research. When you get involved you will find yourself surrounded by people who know and understand the disease.

Cognitive issues is a big problem with MS. I have cognitive issue and was almost releaved to findout that it was associated with my MS. I first started noticing when I was having trouble remembering names and TV shows that I had already seen. Then I was having difficulty remembering words when i was in the middle of a sentence. I believe your brain is like a muscle in your body that if its weak you need to exercise it!
